Andhra Pradesh
Lord Venkateshwara Swamy Temple ( Tirupati ) is dedicated to Venkateshwara, a form of Vishnu , built in the Dravidian architectural style. The first endowment was initiated by the Pallava queen Samavai.
Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha The temple ( Visakhapatnam ) is dedicated to Lord Vishnu , who is worshipped there as Varaha Narasimha. The temple was built in the Kalinga architectural style. The temple was commissioned by Akthayi Senapati on the orders of Narasimha Deva I.
Shri Mallikarjuna The temple ( Nandyala ) located in Srisailam is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati. The temple has been in existence since the 2nd century ( inscriptional evidence from the Satavahana dynasty ) . Most of the modern additions were made during the reign of King Harihara I of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Suryanarayana Swamy The temple ( Srikakulam ) is a Sun Temple located in Gollala Mamidada village in Kakinada district. The temple was founded by Sri Kovvuri Basivi Reddy ( the landlord of Gollala Mamidada ) .
Ranganatha The temple ( Nellore ) is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, where Lord Vishnu is enshrined in a resting position. A grand festival is celebrated every year in the month of March - April.
Veer Bhadra The temple ( Anantapur ) is dedicated to Veerabhadra, the fierce incarnation of Lord Shiva. The temple's architectural features are in the Vijayanagara style.

Akashganga or Malinithan The temple ( West Siang ) is dedicated to Goddess Durga and is a pilgrimage site for Hindu devotees. The temple displays Odishan architectural style.
Assam
Kamakhya The temple ( Kamarupa ) is located on the Nilachal Hill and is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India. The temple attracts thousands of Tantra devotees in an annual festival known as the Ambubachi Mela.
Negheriting Shiva Doul ( Golaghat ) The temple was first built by the Kacharis. The present form of the temple was built by the Ahom king Rajeswar Singha.
Shiv Dol ( Shivsagar ) is a group of structures consisting of three Hindu temples Shiva Dol , Vishnudol and Devi Dol temples and a museum. Dol Yatra and Rath Yatra are both annual festivals celebrated in Vishnudol.
Shri Kedar Temple ( Kamarupa ): Built by the Ahom king Rajeswar Singha, this is a notable medieval temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It houses rare swayambhu ( self-generated ) lingams of Lord Shiva in his Ardhanarishvara ( male and female ) form.
